Nobody knows the cause of Bipolar,and nobody is 100% sure how lithium works,try googling causes of bipolar and how does lithium work , you will get the same answer as i got , everyone seems to be unsure but a few will try with long winded explanantions that only a chemist or a highly trained doctor will understand.
So the cause is unknown and apparently not reversable,so when your doctor explains that you have bipolar and you must start treament there is no going back!
First step from your doctor or psychologist will be to normalise your behaviour ,this my friends is the pick a potion moment,choose carefully and research , choosing the right medication that will suit you and will not have to many side effects but in my experience all medication have side effects so it can take some time before you find the right pill or potion.
